3 Signs You Need A Break

22 June 2022

Work is what makes up most of our time in a week. It’s easy to drown in all the tasks and responsibilities that we tend to forget to rest ourselves.

Here are 3 signs you need a break:

  1. Lack of focus and motivation

Have you ever woken up feeling dreadful and felt like you were dragging yourself throughout the rest of the day?

Do you ever find yourself drifting away from the tasks on hand more than usual? Do you spend most of your free time searching up holiday hotspots or playing a new phone game for relief?

These could be indications that your mind and body are craving some much-needed rest.

   2. Disorganised area

There’s a saying that goes, “Your environment is a reflection of your state of mind.”

Our surroundings have an effect on our performance and how we process information. If you don't have the time to tidy your workspace or can’t remember the last time you really organised your space, it's time to take a break from work.

  3. Deteriorating health and lifestyle

Keep an eye out for your physical and mental health. Experiencing low moods, headaches, insomnia, and fluctuating weight could lead you into a more critical state if you don’t prioritise yourself now.

Catch up on your meals, sleep, and get back to doing your hobbies. Even if you rest for just one day, it could benefit you in the long run.
